Wow. Never knew about this before. I'm having a listen to it on Spotify. It does indeed sound quite good. I dont know why they also have a Master of Puppets rendition on there, especially since that is a Metallica song and Trivium just covered it.

I came across this a few months ago, Wish I could hear something other than 30 second samples though. >.>

errr, wtf?!? No offence to the guys from Trivium but surely they aren't really big enough as a band to justify this?
Having said that though, their version of like light to flies is really good.....

I'm also listening to it on Spotify. I've heard loads of "stringed up" versions of various songs/bands, and I have to say this is unfortunately down at the "sounds like a bad MIDI" end. They could have made the covers so much more epic, The Crusade in particular.

The Crusade was very short especially as the original song is 8 minutes. Im sure with a more professional approach it could be made into a more epic endeavour.

I think if The Crusade was done properly it would be great; it's a very well arranged piece of music after all.

There's been threads about this, it has nothing to do with Trivium it's basically someone trying to make money off their fame, just like all the rest of the 'string tribute' stuff.

Oh fair enough. That explains why I aint heard anything "official" about it. Kinda like those "autobiographies" you can get on CD.
