Posts: 4324 Member #: 20,129 Joined: 09/15/2009	It is, but I personally don't like it. I think not having a bassist or just not being able to hear it is annoying. Bass gives metal that extra low end and thick texture when it's able to be heard well. Just my opinion though.

Posts: 510 Member #: 16,360 Joined: 09/15/2009	Ive been a long term fan of ian glasper( stampin ground, suicide watch) when it comes to bassists. proper full on thrash bassist hes racing the guitars yet knows when to bring the groove sometimes. I use a similer style when i play bass.

Posts: 28 Member #: 20,387 Joined: 09/15/2009	Finally got me a new bass, didnt get a cort, got an ibanez EDB700. Plays brilliant, better than the cort i was gonna get and cost 100 pound less.
