Are you THAT slow? I can do the beat to Gunshot (by Trivium) and that's just by ear!

i can play double bass heel down aswell as hell up but i think heel up makes for more stamina when your not great at it(when your good you can do it both).... i usually just work on technique becuase you can always get faster.....+ yes anatomy of a drum solo is fucking amazing!

That Grant Collins video was pretty sick. I would try to learn to heel-toe like that, but I just don't like playing double bass.

As you can clearly see,i'm a huge Rush fan,hence,you know i'm gonna root for Peart all the way.
I mean,the guy is just a total genius.
Writes the lyrics for the band and arranges the drums,the 2 most complex arrangements(most of the time)in Rush.
Check out his DVD Anatomy Of A Drum Solo,it'll change you.
Has two 35 minutes improvised drum solos which are just....
Just watch the DVD,you'll see.

ive got no idea why joey is so popular. even his album recordings are sloppy!!!

yea i always here people say joeys the best in the world. im like fuck off is he. he is a really gd drumer but there are so many drummers that would kick his ass. hes soooo overrated.
