okay i am SICKKK of all the hype about the band Anvil! a while ago no oe knew about them, then a documentary about a band that has botched things up for themselves for some 20 years comes out and everyone's suposed to feel sorry for them? that's such bull. legions of people jumped on the band wagon of "one of the greatest bands no one ever heard about" really? if they were that great then how come they never got that big? every other band they toured with did. it's cuz they arent even that great to be honest.

I have never really bothered to listen to them, and probably won't. I got enough music to keep up with haha. |

ive never actually heard an anvil song in my life ,but you have to give the guys credit for sill trying after all these years

Saw them at a festival, and they were terrible. Metal on Metal has to be one of the worst songs i have ever heard. Ya i give them credit for trying all these years, but there are plenty of bands from the eightys that really should have been big and are still playing such as kix. |

Yeah, they aren't really very good. The documentary did make me feel some sympathy for them though, haha. |

y am i the only one who actually thinks they are good? i mean they are no Trivium or anything but they certainly know how to play traditional speed/thrash |

Yeah they aren't the best band around, but like child of bodom, they do know how to play some good speed/thrash. Metal up your ass! |
