Im using a death metal pedal right now, it's not bad but the boss metal zone completely overwhelms it.

I'm looking to buy a new bridge pick up for my Ibanez S470. I play a mixture of Prog (Dream Theater, Symphony X etc.) and thrash (Annihilator, Kreator, Death Angel etc.) and want a pick up that will give me a good mix for both. I've heard a lot about Dimarzio (namely the X2N and the Super Distortion) but I don't want to pick one that will have too much/too little output.
Thoughts?

I've only tried Toneport UX1 by line 6 and its pretty okay. All those have the un-mistakeable Line 6 tone which i really dislike! WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY tooo digital but i reckon they all are pretty good for the money if not the best with it.

Things like that are cool, and great for what they are. But if you really want a great recorded sound the best thing you can do is buy a good mic and mic your amp.
