QUOTE(Elliot @ Mar 16 2008, 12:04 AM) Things like that are cool, and great for what they are. But if you really want a great recorded sound the best thing you can do is buy a good mic and mic your amp. |

Yeah... Don't even think of trying to use your computer's default stock soundcard if you want a good recording. I'm thinking of buying a USB soundcard actually. |

i rekon it all depends on how much unwanted sound u have and how much u want:P (i know myself i cant resist some nice slayerish feedback) but some times too much is just to much, i can use marshall wifout using a noise gate and its all good live, but i tried a hughes and kettner amp and it had way to much unwanted noise even too much for me. i have tried the behringer noise reducer and a boss pedal but i still think the best way is just get a decent amp. but like everything everyone likes there setup different |

I cant decide what kind of effects to get. TC electronics G Major vs Rocktron Intellifex LTD, I can get a pretty decent deal for either one of them atm. All I basically want them for is delay, chorus, and reverb but I guess having more effects would be cool. Anyone had experience with either one of these? I want something that doesn't suck tone too much either. HALP |

It was £67, from HERE. It's been a bit of a pain to set up but i've got it working now, probably wouldn't have been able to do it if i didn't know about music tech. |
