Recomendations:
Save more, buy quality. THats the best advice I can give you. I played for about 3 years on a crate 30wat amp with built in chorus and verb. It sucked donkey dick. and I just saved enough cash and bought a right proper amp. And thats the end of it.

QUOTE(The Lentzinator)Boss noise gate, ibanez tube screamer (digitech isnt as good)
Well I have a tube amp so the tube screamer would do the best for it right. And I have a solid as well should I get a new distortion pedal or just keep the digitech and get the noise gate?

i decided against the kustom and ended up getting a 100watt Hiwatt. not the greatest brand but it sounds kickass and its so loud i can't even have the volume on 1 at home
i got a new guitar as well. J&D Luthier V. not sure what model it is cos they have a habit of not giving model names

QUOTE(Sir Daniel)Needed. Amp. Price range 200ish (GBP). Good Distortion a must. Recommendations?
go calrsbro mate. they are massivley underrated meaning you can get some real bargins on eBay for the good ones:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/carlsbro-glx-80-glx8...1QQcmdZViewItem
this one isnt as good as the previous two, but is still value fo rmoney:

Seriously, Carlsbro do some of the best solid state amps in the world. I bought the GLX 85 off eBay for £57 and havent looked back since. it has to be the best solid state amp i've ever played. glorious clean sound, punishing distorion, epic volume and one of the best built in reverbs i've ever heard.
put it this way, if you buy one of those amps i've posted and you dont like it, i'll give you my left testicle. if you buy the head and dont like it, i'll buy it off you

I know that 89's have more low end. But I play on EMG's so i'd recommend the ZW combo.
