Glad we agree on that one. Corey, as a lead player anyway, is better than Matt. In my opinion, at least.

I like Corey a lot too but Matt's rhythm and lead style has had more of an influence on me as a player...That and the fact that he wrote and recorded all of the guitar parts for Ember To Inferno at the mere age of 17 while still being in high school kinda seals the deal for me.

I believe he did, but I'm not exactly sure, at least I've never read that he has not finished high school

He did finish high school, I think, but he concentrated almost entirely on his guitar. I believe he got grades that were just good enough to pass.
I may be thinking of Mark Tremonti, though.

Nice one man. Go for ESP or Ibanez. I know I'm stating the obvious, but they're the best there is.

Hey dudes, I just finished recording a song (without vocals yet), your opinion?

We don't have that many people in our myspace, we just created it, but I'm the main member, i write all the music within it, and i do the vocals also, I'm going to do that sometime during next week if i can. So we only got me and the other guitarist, we are looking for a bassist and drummer. The drums and bass were done with Guitar Pro, so dont judge about the drums, just the oveall music

Yeah, it sounds pretty decent, though obviously its missing a whole other layer with no vocals on there. For the most part though, good. My only real reservation was that the acoustic intro probbly could have lead into the main part of the song a little bit more fluently, but thats something that will come with time.
