If Trivium could go back and change the smallest detail about the Crusade? What would they change? Guitar sounds? Bass on the mixer? Amount of screams? Solos? Death Growls? What? What do you think they would change?

they said they didn't realize all the ideas they wanted cos they didn't have time.

may be some day they'll make a re-record of the album who knows :P

id like to hear the bass a little higher

but other than that i liked the album alot

definitely higher bass although i love this album, some of my favourite songs on it

Ammount of screams, they only went soft because they were influenced on softer bands, but later on they decided that they were unique and wanted to keep it that way.

They would say, "Screw this! Let's fix Ember! We'll make the vocals sound good and change a few solos."

they should go back change the screams and growls and add them, in. lots of the songs dont go with singinng and need the extra fury screaming/growling gives it.

Add SOME screams, Shogun-style. Such as the middle intensity part of "Detonation".
The only songs that I see completely screamable would be "To The Rats" and most of "Unrepentant".

Most of the songs on The Crusade would sound pretty bad screamed because of their changed song structure and tempo, and for the plain fact that they are mostly pure thrash metal.

Ascendancy had a lot of stretched words, see "Pull Harder": "The face / and the lips / tremble / as it rips"
The Crusade has no lyrics of that kind, and would sound rather odd.


Though I would like them to fix Ember To Inferno, like HeavenlyArmed said. It would sound so much better if they recorded it today.

they should scream that album was a huge let down to me.

The Crusade is by far my favorite album, as I still listen to it atleast once a day still.......
