I think most people would consider Ember and Ascendancy to be metal, or at least metalcore. Nowadays, I would say Trivium are like wannabe thrash metal in the sense that they really pushed for the Crusade to sound like thrash by abandoning a lot of the elements that attracted interest to them . Thats just my opinion though. |
