Providence Reigns No More

Hey everyone,
I made an odd song. It's not metal at all, except for maybe the last 45 seconds. It'd probably sound better if played by an orchestra. Check it out and let me know what you think!

I like. You still amaze me with your guitar playing.

Thanks guys. The people on Newgrounds don't like it at all, lol.
I was in some weird, crazy mood when I came up with idea. It seems more like a composition than a song to me. I like the melodic parts of it... I don't know, lol. Maybe some day I'll make something a lot of people like.

Man that's awesome, it has so many different styles in it. What set up do you use for recording? You've probably answered that before actually...

I have, but I have no problem answering it again.
In all of my old recordings, I would use my amp's Line Out jack and use a 1/4 to 1/8 converter and put it in the Line In jack on my computer. It sounded really, really bad in my opinion.
Here's my equipment and how I use it now:
Marshall MG15CD Electronics in 2 Bugera 12G70J8 speakers
7-string Dean
I use a cheap microphone headset and hang it off of the amp over the right speaker and record using my line in.

It still doesn't sound great, but it sounds a lot better than it used to. I generally modify the E.Q. in the recording program before I mix it down to an MP3 file.
Here's the E.Q. settings as well:
