I was thinking the other day about some wicked ideas for some video ideas for shogun songs. this way we can share our ideas and hopefully they can get made into the next music vid (maybe as a competition)
Poison, knife of the noose/ (upon the shores): like a battle seen where one army is coming up the shores to attack the other army, like a 1950 battle. where it would be Posion, knife or noose is that there would be some government secret the scientist must keep safe and even kill them selves to conceal the secret. the enemy would attack the outpost and raid the army finding the scientist who is locked in a room with a gun on him, some medicine in the first aid kit and some rope in the corner and makes the choice the kill himself before the enemy barge down the down, then the whole place gets bombed by planes.
he who spawned the furies: it is set on a desserted island (not a tropical island like a deathly looking island) where there is a large old castle with the King sitting on the throne. he enslaves his kids in prison cells and keeping his female slaves as his mistress only uses them for sex. then the kids escape there cells and kill the king.
Callisto: a fantasty styled vid kinda like throes (imagery and visuals) following the story of the song with awesome CGI. can't really say much abou the song as it is like a stroy in itself.

Shogun could make for one of the most epic videos ever.
Since it's already like a narrative, just put the visual to it = instant classic.

Shogun tells it own story.
Its like a small short one.

I think the 3 part video sounds cool, just interested as to how it'll happen. If it includes the guy from the Throes video, it maybe shows why he's so 'damned' or whatever, like a look into his past. Perhaps an ex-Samurai who now regrets his past life or something, hence why he's all 'omg help me i am so weak lol' in the Throes video.
Part 1 could be him; the all high and mighty Samurai, chopping heads off and shit, running the show.
Part two, him ala Throes video, all shrivelled up and torn to pieces over his past life.
Part 3, he finally finds peace with his life, manages to find refuge within himself and can die happily.
God I have no life :haha

One for the actual Shogun song, makes me think of either an army preparing for a battle, and their individual thoughts followed by some kind of rallying speech "Time has come..."
The setting could be dark, medieval, overcast with a chance of volcanic/battle activity during the active parts of the song.
