I don't listen to alot of metalcore (or Post-Trash/Groove Metal, whatever you want to call it) but at times these songs sound like they could be off Unearth's III: In the Eyes of Fire, which also had it's moments. It's all rather samey..

Sylosis' guitarist is a fucking sick player. I remember hearing these guys 2 or 3 years ago. It took them a long time to get a proper LP out, although now the metalcore thing died on its arse, maybe these dudes have played a blinder and they might get more attention.

Ok, i am a huge fan of both sylosis and trivium, trivium being my favorite band and sylosis still being in my top 5, and you guys calling sylosis metalcore?!, just call it metal! and they are indeed just thrash... josh middleton (now the frontman for sylosis) even stated, we do NOT want to be called metalcore!, they dont want to be known as the british KSE, just call it thrash, and better yet just call it metal. TRIVIUM! BRING SYLOSIS TO THE STATES! :D, ive talked to sylosis and they are waiting for the chance, i think metal gods like trivium would get sylosis more noticed and it would also give people more stuff to listen to :)

@FacelessMetalHead: I agree man. I think that would be an amazing first U.S / North American tour for them. They are easily on my top 5 as well and would LOVE to see them live, and if it were with Trivium ... just wow. Can't wait to hear Edge of the Earth
