Posts: 360 Member #: 19,195 Joined: 09/15/2009	The crusade is just amazing, from begining to end you cannot beat it for variety of riffs, vocals, and drums the tracklisting is perfect and i love the harmonies within the songs themselves 100% fuckin metal

There is only one word to describe this album and that is that it is truley BRILLIANT!!! Not one song on here I dont lyk! If trivium releases another album lyk this, they are on their way to being BIGGER n BETTER than matts idol, James Hetfield (METALLICA)!!!! [attachment=170:Trivium_...icted___.jpg]

Posts: 16 Member #: 20,086 Joined: 09/15/2009	I agree! The albums playlist just takes you on a ride! The harmonies and guitar solo's are just killer! I listen to some songs more than most, but each song has it's own appeal! I love it. Lots of ppl I know hated it coz it was'nt like Ascendancy!

Posts: 192 Member #: 15,976 Joined: 09/15/2009	Ignition-Awesome Detonation- Awesome Entrance-Awesome Anthem-Good for a badass metal song Unrepentant-One of my 3 favorites And Sadness Will Sear-One of my 3 favorites Becoming The Dragon-hasnt grown on me yet To The Rats-Damn good, gotta let the verse grow on me though This World Can't Tear Us Apart-One of my 3 favorites Tread The Floods-Sick ass song, nice and fast Contempt Breeds Contamination- good song, but the chorus reminds me so much of the chorus from "and sadness will sear" I was listening to this song and started singing the words from sadness. The Rising- Least favorite track off the album, its a well written song just not my style, I bet it grows on me over time though The Crusade-masterpiece

Sorry Paolo. I have to agree, but I focused on the bass for a few tracks and its fuckin awesome, massive improvment over the first albums. and the work on the crusade is just pefect.

Posts: 192 Member #: 15,976 Joined: 09/15/2009	its a pretty generic metal song, its not a bad song, just different and weaker than the others, a lot less power and emotion to, I dunno im just not really feeling it. I played it for a friend and he was like, is this savatage, or def leppard, who is this? play a few other songs off the crusade and then listen to this and its just like, eh. I guess it just doesnt fit with the rest of the album which is why I dont like it yet

To each his own i guess, it's Travis' fav song so ur not alone.
