Title says it all, the name will change when the album is released. I haven't given it a thorough listen but I'm liking what I've heard.

Bahahaha. I can fully appreciate that some people don't like pirating music but you don't have to act so high and mighty.

High and mighty? Hardly. It's a lot easier for the moderating team if there's just one place where talk of the album leak goes on, instead of having to go around constantly deleting links etc. from the rest of the boards. Ideally talk of the leak would be kept to a minimum, seeing as this is Trivium's official message board and I'm sure there are plenty of other places people can talk if they feel the need to, but it's going to happen.
However, not condoning spreading word of the album leak is far from acting high and mighty.
To those who've listened/are listening to the album, I hope you guys enjoy. I know I'm going to love the album when I get it, I hope you all do too.

phew..no need to keep it all in any more ..
i just listened to the entire album in it's complete form for the first time...and i have to say..this will probably end up being my favorite album next to ember to inferno.
there is a perfect combination between melody and heavier parts..it all comes together.
personal favorites would have to be : torn between scylla and charybdis (especially the intro, loved it)..like callisto to a star in heaven, the calamity and the epic shogun, which to my surprise..ended up being impressively good considering the lenght.

yeah this album is stupidly good, ive given it one straight listen through. Its going to take many many listens to fully sink in. But each song is amazing. The three singles don't do the album justice, most of the other songs are much heavier and technical. Some of the seven string riffage will make your brain sore, its like your ears are getting hit by hammers.
This album is absolutely amazing, it'll be interesting to see where Trivium is after a world tour supporting Shogun, probably going to be the crusade they intended for.

I agree with you and I think it's great that some people have the patience to wait for the official release, but from the looks of Dustin's post he already downloaded the leak and still refers to everyone else who has the leak as 'you pirates'. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that sounds like some pretty bad double standards.
But yeah the album is pretty good. I haven't given it a proper listen yet but I really like the middle section of Shogun, sounds like a completely new direction for the guys.

I'm pretty sure that "you pirates" was in jest, I could be wrong though.

Fans who are interested enough in a band to download the leak are going to buy the album anyways. Good thing they included a DVD and some B-sides as an extra incentive.
Leaks don't hurt a band unless the album sucks, in this case, Trivium is more than fine.

Yep, I'll be picking up the special edition on the day of (official) release

I know a lot of people who download albums and don't buy them, even if they like them. Hopefully the majority of Trivium fans are as you described though, and will want to buy the CD anyway.
