I am really into avenged sevenfold, especially their self titled album. also another good band is pinkly smooth, which consists of synyster gates and the rev, a side project of theirs and the old sevenfold bassist from soundind the seventh trumpet

Tetrafusion - Altered State. Very forward-thinking metal with a nice progressive foundation.

I Ascended through The Crusade and then ate at Shogun.

Picked up a lot of cd's last week

The Haunted-Unseen. Color me dissapointed, when did one of the worlds best thrash/melo-death bands turn into a Pantera rip off band? No, not even a Pantera rip off band, more like a rip off of a Pantera rip off band. Like Throwdown. Gross.

Megadeth-Thirteen. Solid, but not as good as all the other Megadeth albums of the new millenium. Seems like Broderick is phoning it in, and isn't delivering the amazing ax-work that we expect. They did it wrong by releasing the 2 best new tracks early. And even worse is that the best songs on the album (Black Swan, and New World Order) were already released as b-sides.

Machine Head-Unto the Locust. They knocked it out of the park yet again. Amazing album. They've really kicked ass ever since Arhue left them for Ill Nino.

Nevermore-The Obsidian Conspiracy. AWESOME. No complaints here.

All Shall Perish-This is Where It Ends. A billion times better than any of their cd's imo.
