Well, it's been three weeks with the new Trivium World and it turns out you fans weren't pleased with how we laid things out for you. I hope you'll forgive us for over-thinking some parts of it and under-thinking others. We heard you loud and clear.

As you may have noticed this week, we've been working day and night (literally) to update the site to what the fans told us they wanted: something special, theirs, and apart. Today we brought you Trivium World in its own place, just like you wanted.

Does this mean we're done? Not at all! There's more coming to Trivium World, including enhanced forum features, badges, blogs, and much more we'll be rolling out in coming weeks and months. We would also love to hear some feature requests through the feedback tab on the left of every page on the site.

Sni9er, Laurent, and AshesArise have been instrumental in letting us know what you want, so a big thank you goes out to them. Please feel free to let them and me know what you want as we move into the future of Trivium World.

Floridian riff lords TRIVIUM are pleased to confirm that crushing metal monsters CHIMAIRA will be the special guests on their March 2010 16-date UK headline tour. Metal Blade deathcore band WHITECHAPEL and one other band TBC will also support.

Trivium is also delighted to announce that they are one of the first major acts to team up with entrepreneurial Australian company Posse in the UK. Posse is a peer-to-peer ticketing method that rewards fans for actively promoting concerts. The partnership enables fans to recommend and sell tickets for Trivium gigs in the UK via their personal blogs, websites, or social networking profiles. Trivium are thrilled to chart new territory by aligning with Posse for the majority of their March 2010 UK tour giving fans the opportunity to help make a difference as well as getting something back.
How Posse works: Already a hit Down Under, Posse can be used by anyone over the age of 13. Fans go to www.posse.com, sign up for free to become a member, and then download applications, links, and banners advertising the Trivium UK shows that they can post across the web on their blogs, MySpace, Facebook, Twitter, etc. Posse is integrated with the major ticketing platforms in the UK so all ticket purchase transactions and fulfillment are done directly with the official ticketers for the tour. Fans earn commission on every ticket sold.
As an added bonus, the top national ticket seller can win an autographed white Gibson Explorer guitar like the band’s frontman Matt Heafy plays, an autographed Paolo Gregoletto signature BC Rich Warlock bass guitar & autographed signature Travis Smith Ahead drum sticks.

Hey folks, been working out a few issues with the site. We know there are still some issues with logging in, with being asked to upgrade, and with getting exclusive content messages when you're a paid member. Please make sure you try the below first.

If you are having trouble logging in, please try the methods here first.

If you can log in, but you're still getting asked to upgrade and cannot view any fanclub content, please use the Feedback tab at the left of every page on the site. Include your username and email address. We will look into your account for you.

We've also rolled out some new features in the forum area in the last couple of days. Hope you like 'em!

Upgrade Messages When You're a Paid Member
As mentioned yesterday, we discovered that the site was running with a slightly out-of-date set of information on who had paid and who hadn't. We now have the correct set of data in-hand and will be processing it shortly. I will make another news post when this is done, but it should resolve this issue for most of you.

If it doesn't, we'll still take care of you.

Forums
Many of you are seeing posts from the old forums show up in site activity feeds, but are not able to access them. This is because the forums are imported, but have not been activated for public consumption yet. That you can see them in site activity is a bug, it does not mean you are missing out on anything.

Luke, Laurent, AshesArise, and the rest of the moderation team are working to clean up a few things and will be giving us an update shortly on when the Forums will go live again. We're sorry it's taking a little longer than expected.


Accounts
Just to repeat: if you had both a TriviumWorld.com login and a membership at the Trivium.org forum, we've done our best to match these up and combine the accounts by using your email address.

If you used different email addresses for each, there really isn't much we can do. You're going to have to pick your TriviumWorld.com account and use that from now on.


Pre-Sales, VIP Ticketing, Other Fanclub Bonuses
Artist Arena, the new fanclub company, will be coming online with us on the site within the next week and will start posting information about all of these items for fan club members soon. We will also have customer service contacts set up as soon as we can.

Again, Laurent and Luke are working with us to get fanclub exclusive videos, audio, and anything else straightened out.

If you haven't yet, please read this post from yesterday detailing how to log in. Taking these steps has solved issues for most users.

Welcome back to Trivium.org today! Thanks to everyone for their patience. You've been wonderful. I hope I've been addressing your concerns here, in private messages, and through the Feedback tab on the left of the site.

TriviumWorld/FanClub Issues
Former TriviumWorld.com member experiencing "upgrade now" or "become a premium member" messages? We believe we've discovered the issue. Turns out we were using an older database which does not reflect renewal status for many of you.

We should have that database in-hand later today and will process it within 24 hours of receiving it. The above won't solve issues for everyone, but will for most.


Forums
The forums have been migrated. We've retained over 400,000 posts from the old Trivium.org message boards and the TriviumWorld.com message boards. Finishing touches are being put on the presentation and the Trivium team will be going through and pruning some things here and there.

The former TriviumWorld.com forums will only be available to fanclub/premium members. The former Trivium.org boards will be available to everyone.

"What if I had an account with each?"
Well, we have done our best to match up accounts based on email addresses. Posts you made at Trivium.org have been linked to your former TriviumWorld.com login.

If your email address with both sites was different, you're going to have to use your former TriviumWorld.com account only.

We should be turning the forums on for everyone within a few hours. Barring any unforseen circumstances, of course!


Customer Service
We are setting up email addresses for you to contact Artist Arena, the new fan club company. If you have billing, renewal, meet & greet, VIP ticketing, or similar issues, you will need to contact them.

For all technical issues, please use the Feedback tab at the left of every page on the site or alert one of the web site admins.

EDIT: By way of introduction, I'm Jeremy Rosen and I head up the online team with Roadrunner Records. I've overseen the development of the site with Laurent, Luke, the band, and the fan club.


EDIT 2: I have been made aware of some possible renewal issues. Both the Trivium and Roadrunner teams are aware of this and are addressing with Artist Arena, the new company managing the fan club. We will have a billing contact up shortly and will make sure everyone who has paid to be a member is taken care of.

Hey fan club members!

I'm trying to help get to the bottom of issues with logging in with your old accounts and passwords. We have all of your old fan club membership data in place.

First things first, is anyone having an issue logging in with the EMAIL associated with their old fan club account and password?

Second, if you are have you tried resetting your password?

Last: if none of this works have you tried logging in with your old user name, but adding trivium at the front like this: trivium-username?

Welcome firstly We'd like to thank you for visiting our brand new site, it really means a lot that you take the time to visit and check out the latest news, so thats why we wanted to make this whole experience much cooler !.. We thought we'd take some time to explain the new look and how it all operates !

When you enter the website, you'll firstly see a completely new and fresh look, and next you'll see the new layout of the page, up top right beneath the Trivium logo you'll have navigation access to the whole site: Home, News, Music, Video and a whole lot more.. its all there !

Another new feature of the website is at its core it is a true Web 2.0 compliant website (for those Techies out there) which means every single item on trivium.org you can comment on, rate and share anywhere across 1 of 40 available social networks, were also making sure that the forums are a lot more integrated with the site and its current style, so if you go to a show and write up a great review or post a cool video from that show one of our team can just as easily pick up that post and promote it to a full on news article and you'll get the credit !. as this new site is .. well "New" we expect you find a couple bugs and things that just need that last bit of polish, we hope .. encourage users to seek out these bugs we even have an easy way to report them ! on every page you will see a little pull-out tab labelled feedback, this will allow you to make comment on any page you want to make an improvement or report missing functionality, or just to say how happy or not you ware with it, this idea of yours will travel top speed to our own little IT Team who will churn through them and even post up a comment on what the status of your submitted idea or bug. :-)

The next big thing that's new for Trivium.org is the seamless integration of both Trivium.org and Triviumworld.com, Triviumworld members will be able to access all the same resources as a regular member in a unified way as well as access tonnes of Triviumworld exclusive content, such as Chats with the band exclusive video messages and regular communication from the band in there own forum area, as well as access to all the regular features Triviumworld members have come to accept such as Meet & Greet, Live chats and Exclusive Club Footage

Well that about covers it .. did we mention you don't even have to sign up if you were already a member ? oh well.. We have now ! members who hold both Triviumworld and Trivium.org accounts will find there accounts merged into 1 access all areas account !
