We are pleased to confirm a 16-date UK headline tour in March 2010, in support of current album Shogun. Special guests for the Into The Mouth Of Hell We March Tour shows are currently being confirmed.

Matthew Heafy has this to say:

“United Kingdom! As we said at Download, the UK was the first place in the world to truly embrace Trivium and make us feel like we had a home away from home on stage. The first several UK headline tours we did back in 2005 and 2006 were destructive, lethal and life-changing experiences we shared together: long sets... long tours... no frills, just our friends, our music and a good metal time. It's been a very long time since we've done a full blown, multi-date headlining UK tour... and man have we missed it. We mentioned at Download that it would be a while till we would return... and 2010 is just about that time. We're coming back with a vengeance and we're bringing some friends and we're playing some of our favorite venues. We hope to see you there!”

Tickets will go on sale for all shows at 9am on Monday 13 July!

Mixing early In Flames thrash influences with the song-structures and vocal melodies of Metallica’s first four albums, the album dropped like a nuclear bomb onto the desks of every rock music magazine out there. Every once in a while, an album drops onto your desk that you just know is going to be huge and everyone knew that would be the case with Trivium.

The obvious starting point with this record would be a song that continues to be the greatest weapon in Trivium’s arsenal, ‘Pull Harder On The Strings of Your Martyr’. One of the decade’s biggest metal anthems, it nailed the Trivium template that ran throughout the record. The punishing drums with pounding double-bass drum work throughout, the rampaging guitars that dominate the songs verses, a huge chorus and a middle-breakdown that would make any of their peers proud. (It’s also worth mentioning that the song gave birth to the greatest YouTube parody to hit the web. Our favourite bit has to be Matt Heafy on his bike). Other stunning examples of this formula are shown on the epic ‘Like Light To Flies’, the blood and thunder of ‘Rain’ and the album’s storming title-track.

Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival, the most electrifying carnival to ever hit the summer concert circuit, is back…and bigger. The World’s Greatest Freestyle Motocross team METAL MULISHA will also be revving up the crowd with their unique style of death-defying motorcycle stunts on all dates.
