Well guys, i havent posted here in quite some time
but as most of you (well more like some of you) will have heard my band were in the works of getting signed
As of Today Fall And Perish are Signed to 126 Records :D!!!!
We've got loads of fantastic news that will be coming out asap
things like the Record, the Tour, Merch the lot will all be announced over the next couple of dayss
but if you guys could show your support on myspace etc

Fall And Perish

This , if im being honest, will be a bit of a weird post for me
and to be honest it'll probably be weird reading it too
But this post i thought deserved to be here, as well as my blog (or vice versa if your reading this in my blog), to show just how much i love this band we call Trivium.
Now i know your probably thinking, "oh god like we haven't heard this before", but you know ive got a valid reason this time.
I'll take you back to last Thursday to set the scene....
It was my day off from work (first in a while) and i was just finishing up at the hairdressers when my mom calls me and tells me thats my papa (grandad) finally back home from hospital. Now this was a big thing since he'd been in since the start of november. So i took me and my little brother to my grans house and went in to see him. Now when we went in he did not look great at all. Just sitting there like a frail old man.... it wasnt a pretty sight, and all i could do is feel sorry for him and how much he needed care.... On top of all this me and my family have been stressing out with problems left right and center... but anyway
following this i went round on the Saturday before i was due to start work, and yet again all he had done was get worse, it was painful yet a pleasure to see him. He's always been my hero, the man has been to hell and back and honestly never complains about a thing...
Next rolls on the following week... Monday comes up and im informed that the doctors think he only has a few weeks left... prior to this they told us months, the following day i was due to leave for dundee to see Trivium at Fat Sams.. you can imagine the choice i had
I was assured there was nothing i could do and that everything would be fine.. and that all he would have wanted was for me to go enjoy myself.. and that was the option i went for, ontop of being terribly ill i had my papa on my mind the whole trip.
I popped in to see him before i left, and whilst being there i managed to throw up it was great.....I was also informed he only had 24 hours left... so seeing him in that state left me speechless, muttering how much he loved me and how proud he was brought tears to my eyes. im not ashamed to admit that. So i left for dundee
the journey was far too early for my liking and i was yet again sick on the bus, so much so that i managed to burst some blood vesels in my face apparently so i had a lovely attractive collection of red spots ALL over my FACE.. that of course the least of my worries
ill fast forward you a few hours to the gig, the show was incredible, completely took my mind off things and i throughly enjoyed myself. Matt recognised me from the crowd and that made my night, so far at least haha.
so after the killer fucking show we got the meet and greet, when confronting the members and quoting about my demo not alot of the guys knew/or listened to it haha which tbh i didnt have a problem with
However when i met matt, my world had stopped.
I walked up, noticed he was talking to some girls so i waited, didn;t wanna interrupt him. So im standing there maybe like a minute if that and he turns round.
Not expecting the *Face lights up* "Hey man!! how you been? not seen you in a while haha" he says walking towards me with his arms out which then leads into a hug haha. And the 2 other TWers with me got handshakeshaha
we then had a nice we discussion bout things that happened on stage and like all the silent mouth mutters we made to each other
all in all he made me feel like i was on a personal level with him, and he also replied i was his friend.
Following this my Papa passed away this afternoon, unfortunately whilst i was still travelling back from dundee....
However i want to share with all of you just how much love and respect i have for one of the fucking best metal bands to ever walk the planet
and especially Matt for making me feel so much better than i did on this sad fucking day
So to MKH and the rest of the Trivium dudes

Right guys heres the Situation
for college i have this college assignment and i need to recreate a press pack, now one of the things in a press pack would be a demo.
So my band (despite member issues) are going to use this opportunity to record a small demo anyway, which brings us to our next bit, one of the songs on the demo has to be a cover
So out of the choices above which would you guys like to see on there
NOTE: Im not putting 'other' because we'd simply get far too many songs and this needs to be done asap

theres a cover of Down From The Sky up there, ive recieved comments from some people already and im feeling pretty good about it
its nothing near perfect, but considering how i used to sing its awesome rofl
so aye, thats just there for ya'll to see how im progressing and what not
and for matt and the guys to see if they pass over :P
