was never a fan of Slipknot but RIP to Paul Grey. metal musicians seem to be dropping like flies right now WTF is going on!!

least i got to see him live last year.

also heard his wife is expecting a child. god thats the worst part of it. his kid is gonna grow up without knowing his/her father.

Well we had this on the other board so might as well have it here:

i first heard of Trivium in 2005 when Ascendancy came out and they were all over metal hammer and kerrang! (yeh when it used to be a decent mag). all my friends were raving about them so i thought 'may as well check em out' (especially when they said that matt and paolo were only 19!!)

i downloaded 3 songs (pull harder, like light and requiem) i was impressed with the musicianship but i hated the screaming (at that time i hated screaming with exception of Pantera) so naturally i ignored them. however a year later when Trivium played at Rock am ring 2006 i heard their new song 'detonation' and i liked it because matt wasnt screaming but actually singing. so i thought if this is what the new album is gonna be like il give em another chance.

i bought the crusade the day it came out and i fell in love with it....eventually i learned to love the screaming.

dunno if we count as international but hey ho!!!! all englishmen in this forum

think we may have a sports thread in here for those who enjoy playing and watching sports.

Today il be watching my team Everton take on Bolton Wanderers, and England get mauled by the French in the Rugby :(
