“Over the past 3 years Trivium has had the pleasure and honor of touring, supporting, as well as headlining many diverse tours and festivals along with so many different bands, so being invited by Korn to play this years Family Values 2007 tour and get out in front of a diverse crowd and play is going to rock.
This tour is a chance for us to finally be able to play for Trivium fans that may have never had the ability to see us before as well as other people who may not normally get to go to metal shows.
What a great opportunity for us to play with one of the bands some of us grew up with – Korn, we had the honor of supporting Korn last June at the Download Festival in the UK.
Korn was one of the first bands I was into as a kid. I bought the first family values DVD back in the day (I know I wasn't the only one!). For a lot of the younger fans out there these big summer tours open doors to different music genres. At the end of the day, if we can help get some new kids into metal then that is awesome.
So anyways... it's going to be a fucking amazing tour for the fans and we will do our best to do what we do best - which is rock out live and we hope to make some new friends along the way.
So to wrap it all up, I hope all our fans come out the Family Values tour to these shows and support Trivium - do that and we will deliver a balls-out-metal-as-fuck set to tear the fucker up (we're gonna mix it up and play songs we've never played before.)
You guys fucking rock. This tour is gonna be a big outdoor summer party- come out and rock out.
Love and metal

We're halfway through the first leg of Trivium's The Crusade World Tour 2006-2007 - 71 concerts in 4 months in the United States, Canada, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Holland, France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, UK, Ireland, Japan, Australia and New Zealand. We've just recently finished the North American portion of the tour and it was a blast.
We are currently overseas in Europe as Very Special Guests to the mighty Iron Maiden - quite an honor!!! If we don't make it to your city on this initial run, there is a good chance we'll make it later in 2007 as we've just added an additional leg to the North American Crusade and we will be announcing headline dates for the European Crusade in the VERY near future. All of this touring supports the October release of the current album THE CRUSADE. Lots of work to do!
Touring in support of our debut Roadrunner Records album Ascendancy was amazing. The Download Festival (2005 & 2006) playing on the sacred Donington stage in front of
60,000 screaming metal fans with fists in the air, Ozzfest 2005, two sold out headline tours of the UK & Ireland including - in March 2006 two sold out nights each at Dublin's Ambassador and London's Astoria were just some of the highlights, there were so many other highlights in between and we do cherish all of them. Most importantly, we know that the only reason TRIVIUM can do this is because you the fans make this possible - we all truly appreciate your support.
Speaking of The Crusade - we want to give a big thank you to our fans around the world who helped the album make a splash the first week. The record went straight to the charts in a number of countries: No. 7 on the UK charts (where it was certified Silver upon release), No. 23 in the USA, Germany and Canada, No. 12 in Ireland, No. 14 in Australia, Austria No. 44, Switzerland No. 92, The Netherlands No. 64, Norway No. 61, Sweden No. 41, Italy No. 86, and No. 46 in Japan. this is beyond our expectations so -- Thank you!
We hope you like the new record THE CRUSADE as much as we do. Even though recording is fun, for TRIVIUM it is all about taking the show on the road to the fans and playing live. We live for it and we can only hope the shows are as much fun for you as they are for us. We've had the opportunity to play over 400 shows around the world since May of 2004 and we look forward to the next 400!
Have a safe and happy holiday season, we hope to see you somewhere on the road in 2007 at the shows!
