But what I've heard from Watershed is amazing I love it already.

A Carnifex Metal Book Release 2008
If you requested the following information, I thank you in advance for wanting to participate
in the book release. If I am sending this to you blindly it is because you are a female
involved in either a Metal band or you are a female Metal fan and I am interested in getting
you involved in the project. If you know of any other female Metal musicians and/or fans
who you think would also be interested, feel free to forward them a copy of this information
as well!
Below you will find two different sets of questions, one for Bands and one for Fans. Kindly
Answer only ONE set of the questions for me!
Please answer the following basic questions with as much information as you can give.
The answers will be used as part of a book release called "Metal Queens", where we will
spotlight female Heavy Metal fans, musicians, record label personnel, etc. etc.
Also, please send back the questions with your answers… cutting and pasting them into the
body of an e-mail to CarnifexMetal@gmail.com is the easiest way.
NOTE: We also need the following items sent at the SAME TIME as the answers back... for Fans
and Bands we need 1-3 high-quality pictures of you (and also a band shot for Bands) with the
proper photo credit as well... we do not guarantee that we will use every picture, but answers
sent back without pictures will not be used for the book... sorry... for bands we'd also like a
short (2-3 parapgraph) condensed band bio to perhaps use as well to promote your band.
We will not be using every one of your answers, only a couple of the best answers, so make sure
you add as much to each answer as you can...
Finally, the book will focus exclusively on Heavy Metal Females... so we are looking for answers
that reflect that...
And feel free to re-post this and/or send it out to every female into Heavy Metal that you know,
as well as every Heavy Metal band with a female member... the goal is to get as many female
bands involved in the book, both established acts and newcomers.

Led Zeppelin Tour.
Led Zeppelin Tour On Hold Until September
British rock band Led Zeppelin enjoyed jamming together again last year in a charity concert but won't have another session before September at the earliest, lead guitarist Jimmy Page said in Tokyo on Monday.
A successful reunion show in London in December rekindled hopes of a world tour, but Page said that singer Robert Plant's tour with U.S. country singer Alison Krauss is keeping him busy for now.
"I can assure you the amount of work that we put into the O2 (concert), for ourselves rehearsing and the staging of it, was probably what you put into a world tour," Page said.
But, "Robert Plant also had a parallel project running and he's really busy with that project, certainly until September, so I can't give you any news."
Page, in Tokyo to promote a greatest hits release, painted a happy picture of the reunion.
"It was exhilarating, fantastic, every week was a week to look forward to," he said. "We did the show and it was great."

Led Zeppelin Guitarist Holds Japanese Press Conference
According to a posting on the Led Zeppelin fan site Royal-Orleans.com, Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page will hold a press conference at Park Hyatt Hotel in Shinjyuku, Japan on Monday, January 28. Park Hyatt is reportedly the hotel Jimmy stayed at during the 1996 Page & Plant tour.
Times Online reported in December that Led Zeppelin could earn well over £100 million (approximately $200 million) if the hard-rock band went on tour this year in the wake of last month's triumphant reunion gig. The band is being pursued with offers from both Live Nation and AEG, the rival concert promoters, with each structuring bids in the form of a large upfront payment to lure the band to their venues.
One source said that "AEG put a bid in on the night" — although that could not be confirmed independently — but intense demand would probably make a Zeppelin reunion the most sought-after ticket in 2008.
The reluctance of Robert Plant, the lead singer, still makes a tour far from certain, although the three other band members are believed to be willing to go ahead. Venues in America have been held open in the hope that Plant will say yes.
It is likely that the four-piece band would be able at least to match the estimated $212 million grossed by The Police for their reunion last year, according to figures compiled by Billboard, the industry magazine.
Thanks for the info to Blabbermouth.net.

Slipknot make last record?
One More Slipknot Record?
Fear not, for there will be a new Slipknot record in the not-so-distant future. But whether the band carries on after that, no one can say for sure, reports MTV News.
Frontman Corey Taylor and guitarist Jim Root are off doing Stone Sour, and drummer Joey Jordison is filling in for Korns on-hiatus drummer David Silveria during this summers Family Values Tour. So the members of Slipknot dont have any definitive plans to begin writing new material for their next LP and have no idea when they'll record it.
Nothings really been written yet, and its just kind of up in the air right now, Taylor said. We're definitely going to do at least one more Slipknot album, lets put it that way. But after that, who knows? You get to a point in life where you've said all you can really say with one thing, and I've still got some stuff I want to say with Slipknot. But who knows where I'll be after that. So I want to at least make one more, and then I dont know whats going to happen.
Taylor is well aware that the bands fans will be summarily bummed if the Knot decide to call it a day after reconvening for the recording of and subsequent touring around their impending studio offering, to which the singer responded, Grow up! Taylor said he'd like Slipknot to go out when the time is right and doesn't want to see the band hanging on past its prime.
If [the fans] really sat down and thought about what Slipknot is and what Slipknot was, I think it would make sense to them,he said. Anytime you drive something into the dirt, its not the same as it was. It doesn't have the same potency, the same meaning. I think any real Slipknot fan would appreciate that. I'm not saying it will be the last album from us I'm saying it most likely I mean, we're at least doing one more. People are very pessimistic, and instead of looking at things in a pragmatic mindset, they go, Oh, I cant live. Please.
Taylor is more certain about Stone Sour's future. I will always make music with Stone Sour, he said. Stone Sour will always be here.
